IB Primary Years Programme Candidate School

Leroy Drive Elementary School is an International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme Candidate school.  We provide a rigorous, inquiry-based education encouraging students to be internationally-minded citizens.  The programme offers a transdisciplinary framework encouraging students to use the curriculum to inquire about local and global issues. Spanish is also offered as a second language for all students, kindergarten through fifth grade. 

2012-2013 School Year Information

For the 2011-12 school year students were selected by lottery and space availability.  For the 2012-13 school year we will be included in the Adams 12 Schools of Choice Program.  Please visit the School of Choice website for more information.

January 4 - Students Return from Winter Break

January 12 - Written Curriculum Night featuring Parent Fold Presentation on Motivation & Engagement 5:30-7:30 p.m.

January 12 - Primary Years Programme (PYP) Information Night for Prospective Choice Families 5:30-7:00 p.m.

January 16 - Martin Luther King Day - NO SCHOOL

January 18 - Tour for Prospective Choice Families   10:00-11:00 a.m.

 January 23 - Tour for Prospective Choice Families   9:00-10:00 a.m.

January 30 - Tour for Prospective Choice Families   1:00-2:00 p.m.
