Return to Work/School Guidance for Staff and Students

An important change has been made in return to work/school guidance for employees and students. Please see the new guidance below:
 

If a COVID test is taken:

  • Positive Test:

    • 10 days of isolation from the onset of symptoms
      AND

    • All symptoms have resolved
      AND

    • No fever for at least 24 hours without medication
       

  • Negative Test:

    • At least 24 hours have passed since your symptoms first appeared and your symptoms have completely been resolved
      AND

    • No fever has been present for at least 24 hours without medication*
       

If no COVID test is taken:

        • At least 24 hours have passed since your symptoms first appeared and your symptoms have completely been resolved*
          AND

        • No fever has been present for at least 24 hours without medication
          OR

        • Another diagnosis that explains symptoms after consulting with a healthcare provider

*Those who meet the clinical criteria for a probable case of COVID-19 may be required to stay out the full 10 days, regardless of test results.
