Hello and WELCOME to Leroy! I am honored to be a part of the fabulous first grade team! Itś hard to believe, but I have been teaching elementary school for over 20 years now! For ten years, I taught English Language Development in Adams 12 for kindergarten through fifth grade students. Prior to that, I taught in four other Colorado school districts in preschool, kindergarten, first, and second grades. I have also served as a family liaison for Head Start. I hold a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Wyoming and a master's degree in Linguistically and Culturally Diverse Education from the University of Colorado Denver. In my free time, I enjoy trying out new recipes and a variety of crafts. I love spending time laughing with my family and friends. I have a loving husband, two children, three dogs, and two cats. I am looking forward to a wonderful year of learning!
