My name is Danielle Marshall, and I am so excited to continue teaching at Leroy Elementary this year, but in my new role as a 3rd grade teacher. I have been teaching for 17 years and have taught 2nd-5th grades. I spent most of those years with Adams 12, but also worked in the Boulder Valley School District. I have a Masters in Education focused in Literacy and have spent many years mentoring new teachers and supervising student teachers.
I grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and south of Houston, TX, then went to college in Durango, CO at Fort Lewis. I earned my MEd from Lesley University based in Cambridge, MA. I live in Erie with my husband and son. As a family, we love to hike, camp, read, play games, travel, swim, kayak, paddleboard and spend time together outside. We have an orange tabby cat named Acorn (who thinks he is a dog).
